Hemmed in by sheer cliffs of the Long Mountain Range, Western Brook Pond is the largest lake in Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland, Canada.
Plunging to a depth of 165 metres, Western Brook Pond is cradled by the same ancient cliffs that were carved out by glaciers around a billion years ago. Above the water the cliffs tower to a giddying height of 600 metres with only the hardiest of plants holding on to the rocky cliff faces....
